RULES:

It is NOT a race. The idea is to take your time and enjoy the scenery, there are no prizes for finishing 1st. When parking do so legally, when driving though towns slow right down, many of the roads are narrow and there will be farm vehicles, cyclists, walkers and animals using them. The police are aware of the

route & will be checking speeds. The campsite has a strict 10mph limit and strictly no ‘hand brake turns/wheelspinning’ on the field or you will be removed. The camp entry road is NOT a drag strip & we don’t want to hear you going down it at warp factor 10 – there are no pavements and there are families walking in addition to other cars & it is not wide enough to pass. Please keep speed & noise right down in Pooley Bridge as we would like to return next year. Curfew is 12 midnight each night, please stay quiet after this time (no music) there are on site security guards. Remember don’t keep drinking too late as you will be on the road early in the morning. No fires, BBQ’s are ok if lifted up off the grass. If you are going to play football, do it well away from the cars. Dogs must be kept on a lead. No smoking in the marquee due to new laws.

If you wish to go in to Pooley Bridge there is a lakeside path at the bottom of the next field (through gate) this is the safest route as the road has no pavements. (if going at night take a torch)
GETTING THERE: Turn off the M6 at J40 and take the A66 west. Turn LEFT at the first roundabout (Petrol – top up NOW) onto the A592. Stay on this until you come to a T junction. Turn LEFT for Pooley Bridge, continue over the bridge & through town turning RIGHT at the Mini roundabout. Turn RIGHT at the crossroads & watch for our field on your right.
